Nick Vujicic

Imagine getting through your busy day without hands or legs. Nick Vujicic was born in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia, without arms and legs, and his family was destined to cope with both the challenge and the blessing of raising a son who refused to let his physical condition limit his life.

Throughout his childhood Nick dealt with the usual challenges of school and adolescence while also struggling with depression and loneliness. He questioned the purpose of life, or whether he even had one.

According to Nick, his victory over those struggles and his passion for life today come from his faith in God, along with the family, friends and many people who inspired him to carry on.

Since his first speaking engagement at age 19, Nick has traveled the world sharing his story with millions, sometimes in stadiums filled to capacity, speaking to students, teachers, young people, business professionals and congregations of every size.
